Christmas
Christmas
Well, I have been putting in a lot of time into working on getting Christmas things all ironed.
I can't believe how many pieces I have done over the years and how many have sold, and I only have one piece left of certain things.
Christmas is one of my favorite things to do. I can never find enough material to buy, or patterns, or prints to cover everything that catches my eyes. I love the old-fashioned looking styles. One they don't really carry anymore in stores. I guess I like to keep it more original.
I like to mix fabrics the most. Silk with cotton, eyelet with cotton, of course knit with cotton. Throw in lace and ribbon and cute buttons.
I tend to not like using black for Christmas. I don't like seeing kids wearing that color at the happiest time of the year. I do tend to use a lot of different colors like red, blue, green, tan and white. Colors that stand out for people to see how happy kids are at a happy time.
Just think if Santa was real, he would be one happy guy watching the kids come sit on his lap with my clothes.
